After John Jones' death, Louella remarried. Her second husband murderedher in their kitchen with a hatchet. Jay Jones, her grandson, and one ofhis brothers went to her house to return her dog, who had wondered overto Rolley's house, when the two boys found her dead on her kitchenfloor. Her husband was in prison for her murder when the prison inmatespoisoned him to death with Black Flag insect spray. The article ofLouella's murder was carried in the East Liverpool Revue.
