Lawrence E. Jones Sr., 67
Services will be held monday for Lawrence E. Jones Sr., 67, of RavineStreet, who died at 3:15pm Thursday, Nove. 16, 1995, at City Hospitalfollowing a lengthy illness.
He was born in Wellsville Aug. 23, 1928, a son of the late Rolley A. andMamie Turner Jones.
A lifelong resident of Columbiana County, he was employed 10 years atColumbiana Pump before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during WorldWar II.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Beaver Jones, whom he married Aug. 23,1947; two daughters, Mrs. William (Linda) Neighbors of Zephyrhills, Fla.,and Margaret Jones of East Liverpool; three sons, Lawrence E. Jones Jr.of East Liverpool, Lloyd E. Jones of Negley Falls, Pa.; two brothers, JayJones of California and Edwin Jones of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
The Rev. Charles Parry, chaplain at City Hospital, will conduct theservices at 11 am at the Dawson Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the services.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to afavorite charity.

Lawrence had been ill for quite awhile with a stroke and heart condition.
