Notes for: Mitchell Sanford ADAMS

Mitchell received his eduaction in the Daviess Co., Schools and the Owensboro Public Shcools. Before his induction in the Army, he was a chef at Gabe's restaurant in Owensboro, KY. He was inducted 8-Aug-1943 and had training at Bucklry Field, Denver, CO; Peterson Field, Colorado Springs, CO; and at the Dalhart Army Base, Dalhart, TX. he was with the 316th Bomb Wing, 2nd Air Force, Army Air Corps. He served as an Army Cook and was discharged 8-Dec-1945 having received the Good Conduct medal.
