Notes for: Johann Andreaus WENTZ
He came to America on the Ship - 'Two Brothers'. He sailed from Rotterdam, Holland and arrived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 28 August 1750.
Legend has it that he studied in Germany to be a Lutheran minister, but was never ordained.
He apparently moved to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina shortly after his arrival as D. A. R. records show his eldest son was born there in 1751. He lived out his life as a farmer, and is buried in the Morning Star Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
