Mrs. Eleanor Jeanette Hinton, age 77, a resident of Foley, Ala. died March 7, 1982.
Survivors include, husband, William Ransom Hinton, Sr., of Foley, Ala. Five sons, William Ransom Hinton, Jr. of Smyrna, Ga., Phillip Ray Hinton, Sr., of Fairhope, Ala., Robert Dowling Hinton, Sr. of Robertsdale, Ala., George Carr Hinton, Eight Mile, Ala., and Eugene Hayes Hinton, Sr. of Silverhill, Ala. Four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Joiner of Stapleton, Ala., Mrs. Dorothy May Sawyer of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Margaret Eugene Sawyer of Foley, Ala., and Mary Eleanor Freeman of Foley, Ala. Thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Memorial services were held March 10, 1982 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Stan Persons officiating. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. in St. Mathew's Episcopal Church in Mobile with Rev. Jack Waller officiating. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, Ala.
