OLD RESIDENT, MRS. F.A. IVES, DIES THIS WEEK.
Mrs. Frank A. Ives 85 who has been a resident of this city for 70 years died at her home Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock from old age complication. She had been confined to her bed for almost two and one half-years. The funeral was held from the home at 2o'clock Tusday afternoon. In the absence of Rev. G.D. Yoakum, the Rev. A.E. Tink of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was at Bayside. Special music was furished by members of the choir of the Congregational church to which Mrs. Ives belonged for many years. Mrs. Ives whose maiden name was Helen Marsh, was born at Gouverneur, New Youk, February 11, 1849. She came to Wisconsin with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Marsh settling at Beaver Dam, and in 1864, The family came to Sturgeon Bay. Mr Marsh ran lumber mills and later had a blacksmith shop here. Surviving are three children, Frank L. and Lela, of this city, and Will, of St. Anthony, Idaho; one sister Mrs. Cora Bailor, Emida, Iowa? (actually Idaho), and seven grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Will Ives and two of their children were here in June for a vist, so did not return for the Funeral.
