DEATH:

Paul Eugene Galloway, 79, Greencastle, died Wednesday at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.Born Feb. 19, 1925 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Charles Edward and Winona (McIllwain) Galloway. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a disabled veteran. He was a member of Good Tidings Tabernacle Church, Brazil, Spencer VFW Post 1305, and a lifetime member of DAV. He married Wilma Irene Hale on Oct. 16, 1948. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Larry Galloway and wife Rhonda, Reelsville, and Jerry Galloway and wife Missi, Spencer; two daughters, Paula Patton and husband LeeRoy, Cloverdale, and Marla Sanders, Greencastle; a brother, Hugh Curt Galloway, Terre Haute; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary Galloway, brother Charles Galloway and an infant sister. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Buddy Kline officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday.
