Notes for: Chester MALEY
According to Rollo Perkins records: Chet lived in Pine Valley nearly all his life. Was one of the first to organize the Baker County Fair, held at Halfway, Oregon each year. He loved horses and laways has some beautiful ones. Chet had several strokes and his legs were partially paralized and he was in a wheel chair. He sent his wife to town and took his own life with a .22. (Notes from Anita Pratt-Perkins)
