Notes for: Nancy IRISH

1. Hinesburg, VT, Quitclaim

Know all men by these presents that we, Archibald L. Perkins and NancyPerkins, wife of said Archibald L. Perkins in Chittenden County and of Vermont for the consideration of Fifteen dollars paid to our full satisfaction by Alexander Ferguson of Huntington in Chittenden County and State of Vermont, have remised, released and forever quit claimed unto the said Ferguson all rights and title which we the said Archibald L. & Nancy Perkins or our heirs in the following land in the township of Hinesburgh aforesaid to wit all our rights, title and interest in the farm on Hinesburgh hill now owned and occupied by our mother Thankful Scott together with all our rights as heirs to the estate of our father Zodac Irish, (deceased)...In witness thereof we hereunto set our hand andseal this thirteenth day of April, A.D. 1846.

2. Listed as an invalid in bed in the Kalamazoo, Michigan 1870 census.No record has been found of her burial in either Michigan or Wisconsin.
A letter (old, but undated & unsigned) states:

"Grandfather Perkins' parent Mrs Nancy Perkins died in Symco, Waupaca CoWis. She was about 67 years old, death caused by fever sore."
