Notes for: Elizabeth MCFADIN

Following the death of her husband, and probably about 1854, Elizabeth's brother Elias A. came to live with the family in Comfort, Kerr Co.,Texas. He had been farming with his two brothers "Alfred" and "J.R." in the Rio Grande Valley since sometime before 1850. In 1852, these two brothers were killed in a scrape with the gang of the nortorious Mexican bandit and cattle rustler Cortina in Mexico. [email David McFadden]
