In 1883, a biosketch of George's youngest son, James Wesner gives George's place of birth in Chester Co, Penn on 7 May 1765. It also mentions brothers who fought in the Revolutionary War. A pension filed for George Miller lists his wife as Judith Wesner and references living in Crawford Co, IL where that can be found living in the 1818 and 1820 census. In an 1837 application for a widow's pension, Judith refers to her marriage in Harerstown, Washington Co, MD and also to her brother Jacob Wesner who lived in Brown Co, OH. In 1835, Jacob Wesner of Brown Co, OH filed a pension application and referrred to his enlistment in Washington Co, MD and listed his birth place as Lancaster Co, PA in Jan 1753. These records establish Judith and Jacob as probable sister and brother to George.
George and Nancy Eaton Wesner's 1793 marriage bond signed by Thomas Eaton in Bourbon Co, Ky which is also the first year the Eaton's show up in tax list there.
George and Nancy's children John, Henry and Nancy were born in Tenn between 1796-1799, but by 1800 his is listed in the Logan Co, Ky tax list. George acquired land on the east fork of the Pond River in August 1800. This river runs close to the present day Todd-Christian Co border.
By 1818 the George Wesner, George Miller and Thomas Kennedy families had moved to Crawford Co, IL along with many of the Eatons.
By 1820 Martha, Catey and Mary Wesner had wed.
By 1830, Nancy and Susannah had married
By 1850 George is living with his youngest son James and census data confirms that he was born in PA, his age in this census would indicatethat he was born in 1758 not 1765.
