Notes for: Thomas MOUNTS
Thomas came to Indiana as a baby with Samuel in the Clark Grant. After Marrying Mary Scott, Samuel and Thomas bought land in Bartholomew County and moved there in 1820. Thomas and Mary had 14 children and acquired a large farm near the Railroad. He helped Platt part of Columbus as well as donating part of his farm as a burying ground for Carter's Chapel Church, now Carters cemetery where he and Mary are buried.
