Notes for: Eliza Jane MASSIE

On March 14, 1878, Rufus B Brumfield and his wife, Eliza Jane sold toEphraim Massie "Eighty three acres more or less" of property located inMason Twp, lawrence Co, OH. The transaction was executed in the presence of Jesse Massie and Squire Massie, a Justice of the Peace.
On August 1, 1889, Rufus B Brumfield and his wife Eliza Jane soldproperty to Ephraim Massie. I don't know for sure which Ephraim this wasbut I think it was probably the son of Jeptha Massie and Lucy Corn as hewas married to Lana Brumfield, Rufus' sister. The selling price was $50for "two acres more or less." The transaction was attested by CordellaMassie and J W Cox (a Justice of the Peace). Deeds, Volume 50 Page 32.
